El Teniente, a copper mine in the Chilean Andes, has over 1,500 miles (2,400 Km) of tunnels!

A lush forest survives in Oman's Dhofar Mountains with no rain! The cloud forest is surrounded by deserts and gets most of its water from seasonal fog.

Recycling an aluminum can uses approximately 4% of the energy it would take to create a new one from raw ore, conserving enough energy to operate a TV for about 3 hours!

< TASK > Answer the questions.

(1) How long are the tunnels of El Teniente?

(2) What makes a forest in Dhofar Mountains lush without rain?

(3) Which needs more energy, recycling an aluminum can or creating a new one from raw ore?
